Set on a white sand beach with uninterrupted views across the Caribbean Sea, the resort consists of 25 single story Cottage Suites set in 10 acres of tropical gardens. The views from all suites are spectacular. The individual Cottage Suites are located by the beach and on the hillside overlooking the Ocean. All are connected by pathways through the resort, creating an aura of peace and tranquility. Each Pool Cottage Suite has a private plunge pool with sunbathing area and chaises. A wrap around open air deck incorporates a lounge area, day beds and dining area. Hardwood doors lead into the air conditioned bedroom with comfortable king size bed. All have flat screen TV, DVD Player, iPod docking station, broadband Internet, mini bar, personal safe. The bedroom leads into a spacious bathroom, where guests can bathe with a view of the Caribbean. There are twin wash hand basins, vanity dressing table with hairdryer; and a separate garden shower which enables guests to shower under the stars. The Beach Cottage Suites are perfectly positioned near the beach. There is terraced verandah complete with a day bed. The bedroom and sitting room are air conditioned. The bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV, DVD Player, iPod docking station, broadband Internet, mini bar, personal safe and tea & coffee maker. The bathroom is large with bath, twin wash hand basins, hair dryer and outdoor garden shower. The restaurant and bar are located in front of the beach. The restaurant is tiered to afford each table a spectacular view. Lunch is also offered around the patio and pool areas. Room service is available at an additional charge. All inclusive terms include breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, together with a choice of house wines and all premium brand beverages. Complimentary water sports available.

The resort is lovely. Great for Honeymooners. It's very very quiet. A nice, but small pool. The beach is on the small side but more than adequate. The ocean water is spectacular...equals Anguilla... but it was jellyfish season so we couldnt swim much. The staff is wonderful. They couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were large and very pleasent. The outdoor shower was very nice but in colder weather it may present a problem as the indoor facilities are a huge tub with a hand held shower head. The food was outstanding. Every dinner I had was wonderful. The breakfast and lunch menu didnt change but they did add some specials. All in all I would have no apprehensions recommending the Hermitage to anyone...except maybe older people as the walk up to the hillside rooms was tough.
