Royal Decameron is an All-Inclusive 4-story waterfront resort with a contemporary style of architecture and 134 air-conditioned rooms, each with a balcony or patio. This is the only hotel property on Gloucester Ave with its own private beach.
Hotel features include unlimited domestic drinks, two restaurants, a snack bar, two bars, nightly entertainment, a karaoke bar, two swimming pools, two tennis courts, daily activities program, non- motorized water sports and scuba lessons in the pool.

Beach: The beach is split into two sections, one for water sports and the other for beach activities.

There are 3 Restaurants at Royal Decameron Montego Beach Hotel:

We just got back from our first visit to Jamaica on May 16th, and this hotel was a good start of good impressions. It was clean, and simple, and everyone there was friendly. Food was good, drinks plentiful and endless sun, which is what we came for. It was very relaxing and quiet and safe. Not alot of kids, and that was a good thing for us. Will definately tell our travel agent it was a great place.

I never wanted to leave!!

My friend and I had the most fun at this hotel! We were impressed with every aspect it had to offer. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! The food was excellent, the people were so friendly and helpful, and the location was beautiful! Yah Mon! Just sad the trip had to come to an end

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon at the Royal Decameron in Montego Bay. (May 9-14th) After reading several website reviews and pricing almost every all-inclusive in the Caribbean, we chose to stay there. It far exceeded our expectations. The food & drinks (try the black orchid) were plentiful, fresh and quite good. The staff was very friendly. (We had read previous reviews on other sites that said that some staff members were rude and/or unfriendly. I would like to note how many people we saw that were rude and/or unfriendly to the staff while we stayed there. You get what you give. A thank you and respect go along way in any country!!)

Our room was spacious and very clean. It had glass French-style doors that offered a wonderful view of the sea and a table and chairs on the front patio for sitting. The water sports equipment was always available and got plenty of use from us! The beaches were kind of small but very clean and un-crowded. There is plenty of area for good snorkeling on the private beaches of the resort. We joked that the fish and people of Jamaica were so friendly! We would recommend this resort to anyone and look forward to returning someday!

I just recently stayed at the Royal Decameron hotel in Jamaica! It was by far the best resort in Jamaica! The staff was excellent; they always ensured that their guests are having a good time!

I went to Decameron with my best Friend and we had the time of our life. The resort offered various tours. If you go I highly recommend you try Dunn River Falls as well as the Chukka Blue Canope tour. Both were very exhilarating! These tours come at an extra charge but it is definitely worth it!!

The hotel is located right on the Hip strip of Montego Bay! We were no more than a 10 min walk from Margarittaville Casino as well as the markets. Margarittaville is a sports bar by day and a night club by night. It is one of the hottest places to party at in Jamaica! Take the time to go! The staff of the hotel would often accompany us at night to the bar to be sure of no problems!

The resort caters to both young and old. They offer a range of entertainment at night promptly after supper! Once the shows were over they opened their Disco bar until 2am!! Also during the day there were a variety of water sports with staff on site to help you with the equipment. The beach is small but really how much space do you need to lie down and get some sun!! We never found it to be a problem to get a beach chair. the resort offers so many things to do that everybody is doing something different!

The food was excellent!! We mostly ate at the buffet. Which always had more than a selection for three meals!! If you are a picky eater I’m almost certain they would still be able to accommodate you! The al a carte restaurant was lovely also. They serve a wide range of Jamaican food. And let’s say you just felt like a burger than just walk down the beach to the burger hut!!! There are two pools one shaded and one with a bar!!!! This was more than convenient!! Speaking of bars, the resort had 4 of them!!!! One in the lobby, by the beach, in the pool and the disco at night!!!

Also if you want to get your hair braided there is a girl at the resort named Michelle who can do them for you for a great price!!

We found the resort to be very clean, beautifully designed, over accommodating staff with the most friendly service!! I would return to the Royal Decameron tomorrow!!! This resort gave me and by best friend one of the best adventures of our life!! I highly recommend if you are choosing Jamaica to stay at the Royal Decameron Montego Bay!!!!!

My best friend and I just got back from Jamaica, we stayed at the Royal Decameron in Montego Bay. The hotel recently reopened only 4 months ago (we went in May) after being destroyed by a hurricane. The hotel is beautiful. There are no words to describe the hotel staff, they were great, always making sure everything was fine.

Orlando and Omar kept the energy going during the day and at night. There wasn't much of a beach but there were enough activities for us to do that we didn't spend much time at the beach.

The food was delicious, especially the Jerk Chicken. They offer a number of off-resort tours and activities to do, one that wasn't offered was the Canopy Tour. If you ever get the chance to do this, DO IT. It was such a rush you zip cord through the trees, the longest cord being over 1000 feet long over 1500 feet off the ground and you go over 30mph. Our week in Jamaica was incredible, we are young girls. This resort caters to both young and old, so give it a try. We did and we had the time of our lives.
