My husband, two daughters and I arrived here in July 2005 to find ourselves in some cramped attic-like rooms of which I would not stay in and insisted upon two others, which were only a slight bit better. I found the place not of the caliber I expected, accorrding to the write up given...it is very third class. Th following day along with two other couples who were equally upset, we had the hostess make arrangements for a better hotel. It took almost five hours but we transfered to the Riu complex of which we loved. Word to the wise when visiting the Dominican...upgrade originally, go with 5 stars +, not 3 as this was rated at the time. We learned our lesson!

visited Paradise Beach Club in 06, We did not like the room they gave us the beds are old, refridgerator didn't work,ac barely worked. The Hibicus eating area had birds flying in black crows, and dogs and cats running around the dining area.We took a bus trip to Paradise Island which took 3hrs each way only to get there and find the only food served would be fruit and rum and cokes no meals were offered until late afternoon the trip was way over priced and too far from the Club. We did not care for this place at all
