Most Beautiful Place
5.0 Rating by Callie on February 4, 2005
My boyfriend and I travelled to the Paradisus on our first vacation together last May. Neither of us have either been to the Caribbean before, but our expectations were exceeded by thousands. With beautiful landscaping, it created the most incredible atmosphere, whether it was sunrise, midday, or late evening. Just walking into the lobby gives you a sense of vertigo, with the attention to detail and incredible furnishings, as if you were in a dream. The path ways that led you around the resort, were so meticulously maintained, it left us speechless almost every time.
With ten different restaurants, we never had to eat in the same place twice, and were amazed each time with the different tastes we experienced in each. The pools were incredible, and lavish with vegetation, with plenty of space to spread out for privacy. The different activities available was exciting, choosing something different everyday; from a four-wheeler tour of the island that ended up and the most incredible natural blue spring cave I have ever seen, to parasailing from the beach. The Crystalline ocean is self-explanitory, and is only enhanced when you take the horseback riding trip. UNBELIEVEABLE!!
I must add...The employees at Paradisus Punta Cana are the most genuine people I have ever met. Every time we passed an employee while on a walk, they stepped to the side of the path, and with a smile greeted us everytime. It almost felt awkward to be treated with such kindness by people we'd never met before, especially coming from Boston; land of the impatient and angry people. It was by far the most impressive resort I have ever seen, and only wish I could go back this year. Although I personally have no other resorts to compare this beautiful place to in the Caribbean, I definetly give this resort 5 stars with a smile. I will definetly go back sometime in the near future.
