Caribbean Princess Reviews
Hooked After One Cruise
5.0 Rating by Trina Smith on April 9, 2005
I took my first ever cruise on the Caribbean Princess in September, 2004. I cruised with two other ladies and we loved every second aboard the Princess. The ship is so impressive, it is immaculate, the crew is constantly polishing, painting the bottom of the ship while in port, doing everything possible to make her shine and she does!
The entire staff on the Princess are professional at their duties. Our room stewart, Marco was extremely helpful and kept our cabin in tip top shape, always greeting us with a warm smile and friendly greeting.
The food on board was excellent, the shows were very good, however, it is sometimes hard to get a seat so you have to go early. There are a lot of activities going on at all times, James, the Activities Director does a great job of making everyone aware of activities so you don't miss out on anything. The Movies Under The Stars is the GREATEST idea, we enjoyed going one night complete with cushioned lounges, throws, and popcorn, it was a wonderful way to enjoy a relaxing evening. We found ourselves watching movies all day while soaking up the Caribbean sunshine, I hope this idea catches on with other ships.
The Caribbean Princess is a wonderful, beautiful ship, you will feel special and pampered (especially if you take advantage of the spa and treat yourself to a massage like we did, we had a hot rock massage, so warm and soothing.... great!) There is something for everyone, the ship never seems crowded, it is just the perfect vacation, we are definitely hooked on Princess, we will sail with them again. My husband and I are currently planning a cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in May, 2005, he didn't have a desire to go on a cruise until I shared my experience with him and told him that it is the most perfect vacation, You can't tell you are on the water. My sister and I are planning our second cruise together, this time Hawaii!
