A Memorable Experience

I recently returned from a memorable stay at the Paradise Village Resort in Nuevo Vallarta. Prior to leaving, I was a little unsure of the resort choice that I had made based on some of the reviews I had come across describing the resort. Let me reassure all of you, this resort is truly fantastic. Furthermore, I think that some of the poor reviews you may find are written by travelers that are very "hard to please."

To sum it up, the Paradise Village is a quiet, tropical oasis situated on a secluded marina and a stunning private beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food and drinks (despite unkind reviews) were delicious.

If you travel to Nuevo Vallarta, keep in mind that it is actually located in a different state than Puerto Vallarta. Technically, there is a one hour time difference between Nuevo Vallarta and Puerto Vallarta. However, the time difference is not enforced in the hotel districts to eliminate confusion. This said, it is approximately a 30 minute cab ride to the bars and discos located on the Malecon. If you plan to spend a lot of time in downtown Puerto Vallarta, and you are opposed to spending a little travel time in a cab, perhaps you should stay in the Puerto Vallarta hotel zone. However, if you like the idea of a resort surrounded by lush landscaping, rolling golf greens and relaxation, the Paradise Village Resort is an excellent option for you! As someone that has traveled to different Mexico destinations numerous times, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.
