Bahia Principe Akumal is the newest extension to the Bahia Principe Tulum Resort with a separate lobby and 485 additional suites. Although facilities are combined with Bahia Principe Tulum, the Akumal section offers another large segmented lagoon pool, jacuzzis and wooden decks for sunbathing by a small beach with gentle water for swimming. There are four additional restaurants (giving a total of nine restaurants in the whole resort). The gym, spa and three tennis courts are located in this area.

Activities & Entertainment

Daily Activities: There is a Daily Activities Program every day from 10 am to 6 pm, with Non-Motorized Watersports, Tennis, Mountain Bikes, Soccer.
Evening Activities: Daily entertainment with live music and a variety of shows at hotel's amphitheatre, disco located at the Hacienda Dona Isabel.
