My husband and I have been to the Barcelo twice, once in 2001 just the two of us went away. We enjoyed it so much we took our 5 kids ranging in ages 11-21 back for a family vacation in 2003. All ages had a great time. The food was good, staff very friendly. Clean rooms and grounds. I would recommend the Barcelo.
