Just got back from Club Maeva yesterday March 20, 2005. It was great. The weather could not have been better. It's an hour and a half trip from the airport dropping of guests at other hotels but well worth the wait. The hotel is beautiful and spotless, plates and glasses are picked up so fast that you think elves work there. The staff is very friendly and most speak english very well.

The food is very nice a great selection for everyone. It is buffet style for all meals so getting as much or little of what you like is not a problem. There is a formal sit down dinner available to 45 guests a night. It must be booked the day before at 7 am. I suggest getting there at 6:45 as the line forms fast. The dinner is served at the beach building and is a nice change from the buffet. I would rate the food at a nine out of ten overall, i would have given it a ten but I would like to see more sea food available.

Food is available 24 hrs so nobody is going to be hungry. The hotel I give nine, the rooms are a little small but you will not spend much time in them.

Now for the best part, the beach. It's the nicest beach I have been too. White sand, beautiful blue water, and seems to be the calmest on the entire Mayan Riviara. No problems swimming and snorkeling here. I suggest wearing foot wear into the water as a few people stepped on sea urchins.
